Test Driving Tips

Ahhh that new car smell… it’s exciting to take a vehicle out for a test drive!  We know the feeling.  Because we know the feeling, we’ve put together a ‘how to’ video to help you get the most out of your test drive.

The first step in deciding which vehicle is right for you, is to make a list of what you’ll use it for and what qualities you must have.  Then, make a wish list of what you would like, but don’t need. Keep both lists handy. You might want to take a look at our online inventory and research vehicle features , gas mileage and price.  This way you’ll walk onto our lot knowing what type of vehicle you think will be the best fit for you.

Shanna McGrath will discuss how to test the vehicle to get a good understanding of how it handles, as well as, a few things to keep in mind when making your choice.

If you visit www.McGrathAudi.com one of the tabs you’ll notice there is labeled ‘Research‘. If you click on this tab it takes every Audi model and lays them out on a chart.  It does this in a way that shows you how the model you might be interested in is comparable to the others within the requirements. You can choose ‘MPG’, ‘MSRP’, ‘Seating’ & ‘Power’.  As you jump between the requirements the vehicles juggle around the chart until they fall into position.

Let’s say you want a vehicle that seats 7… select ‘Seating’ and at a quick glance you see that only the Audi Q7 meets that need. Or perhaps you’re looking for ‘Power’, it’s instantly obvious the Audi R8 gives you the most horsepower to play with.  If you want more details about the vehicle, click on the image within the chart and it takes you through to the details. It’s a very cool, very handy,  very easy-to-use research tool.
